Hi there!

I’m Meredith, a native Coloradoan and hairstylist of 30+ years. You will usually find me on a patio with a beverage and a good book or a good friend. I love used bookstores more than clothes stores but as a GenXer, I do love an indoor mall. Cooking is one of my favorite ways to spend the day and I do it often. Besides the occasional crafty project or kayaking at our local reservoir, it’s also my only form of meditation. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “You attract what you’re like” and that isn’t more evident than in a salon. The majority of my clients are also book dragons and/or foodies.

Learning, whatever weird crazy thing I get a hankering for, will be a lifelong obsession. I venture down many a Rosen Bridge (Rabbit Hole if you like) – true crime, holistic health and the mysteries of the universe are some of my favs. Gardening is the latest and thanks to being raised by depression era parents, I geek out on canning, dehydrating and that self-sustaining DIY stuff. In the middle of doing all that hair, was a 10-year stint in Corp America. Besides a lil PTSD, I left with a project managers brain and a love of Excel. Great skillsets for all those bridges and holes.

But most of what I’ve learned came from my years behind the chair, from all the people I’ve met and the stories they’ve shared. And you know that I’ve heard it ALL. We’ve all faced struggles, traumas, and challenges in life. We’ve also experienced love, hope, and joy. Sharing those stories connect us. It’s that “Oh my God, I’m not the only one who feels like this” Aha moment reminding us that we’re not alone. I’ve seen and felt the value in that time after time.

So Welcome and Thank You for letting me share my “Tales from Behind the Chair” – the good, the bad and all that. Along with a few odd adventures, learning obsessions and whatever other Rosen Bridge I find myself wandering down.

You won’t find me on X, but you can find my Insta and Pinterest links on the home page menu. Hit SAY HI to leave a Comment or Keep in Touch to sign up for Upcoming Posts and News.

And always, be excellent to each other!
